About Greg Stokes
I am honored to have the opportunity and responsibility to represent Broomfield's Ward 4 on City Council, and to be selected by my peers as Mayor pro tem of Broomfield three times. I appreciate the support in the previous elections, having earned 72% of the vote in 2013. My term expires in November of 2017.

My current board and commission selections/assignments representing the city and county of Broomfield are indicative of my focus on essential government functions and services:
Regional relationships with other elected officials and staff are an increasingly important part of our role representing Broomfield. This is especially true for transportation needs and other infrastructure related organizations, like regional flood control. These critical relationships take time to develop.

My career began in engineering at Boeing (McDonnell Aircraft Company) working as a manufacturing engineer on combat aircraft programs. Since moving to Colorado in 1993, I have held senior management positions in Operations, Materials, Quality and Engineering at Micro Motion, Inc., Emerson Process Management, with both local and international responsibilities. For the past 16 years I've been a self-employed investor/consultant, a parent with a focus on community volunteering.
Other than my current city council commitments, some of my community involvement activities have been:
